DANIEL RICCIARDO: Mercedes ’dominance is admirable but frustrating

Daniel Ricciardo, a Renault racer, says Mercedes ’continued dominance in Formula 1 deserves respect, although it frustrates him.

Australian team racer Renault said a few words about yesterday qualifications, where he was Mercedes by more than a second faster than all the other competitors in the field Formula 1.

"I think I’ve always been on the side of those who took off their hats in front of them and advocated for those who warned others to check what they were doing, to work harder, or to move in a different direction. I also praised the DAS system I noticed at the winter tests in Barcelona because they have the ability to be the friendliest team in the field and to complain the least. This is the line they set and they are moving forward in that direction," so Ricciardo.

Daniel Ricciardo admits that Mercedes ’dominance is admirable, yet very frustrating for any competitor.

Despite recognition and respect, the Australian adds: “It’s all admirable, but it’s frustrating for a competitor. I really hope all the teams dig deeper to find the answers. I’m not going to lie, it’s still very frustrating for me to watch such dominance. But all you can do is take off your hat and pay your respects. You can’t be outraged because they do a great job.
