Today, Samsung introduced a number of new devices with the help of a virtual event, among which the biggest stars are certainly their new top models of smartphones - the line Galaxy Note 20 and a new generation of flip phone Galaxy Fold 2.
Line Galaxy Note 20 consists of two devices, namely conventional Notes 20 in Notes 20 Ultra. While the Ultra model, which will cost $ 1299, is everything you might expect from Samsung’s flagship in the second half of 2020 and is loaded with all the latest materials and components, the standard model is a whole other story.
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 It has a "high-end plastic" back of the case and a 6,7-inch screen with Full-HD resolution and a refresh rate of 60 Hz (screen refresh rate has become one of the most important details on the phone screens, as the higher frequency gives a much more pleasant experience each leading representative today has a minimum frequency of 90 Hz, ideally 120 Hz).
All this together would not be a problem if it were a device that belongs to the middle class and costs less than 500 euros. But because this is, so to speak, their leading model, it is Samsung set the price on what 949 euros, which is a gesture that the undisputed king when it comes to smartphone screens should not allow at this time.
Galaxy note 20 ultra on the other hand, it has a 6,9-inch Dynamic AMOLED punch hole front-facing screen, has Quad-HD resolution (3200 x 1440 pixels) and - something new on smartphones - a variable screen refresh rate that can be moved from 1 to 120 Hz.
This means that the device will decide on optimal refresh rates, depending on the content on the screen. When it comes to reading books, 1 Hz is enough. If it’s a 3D game, it will jump to 120 Hz. Such an approach should make it possible optimization of energy consumption from a battery having a capacity of 4500 mAh. The standard Note 20 will have a 4300 mAh battery, and the maximum charging speed will be 25 W or 15 W wirelessly.
System chip in models Notes 20 were downloaded from the model Galaxy S20, which means we will have Samsungs in Europe Exynos 990. Standard Notes 20 the memory package will have 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory, while the Ultra model will have a combination of 12 GB and 512 GB. So performance shouldn't be a problem, and in addition to 5G connectivity, the models will also be equipped with Wi-Fi 6.
In terms of design, it’s about developing last year’s version of the model Notes 10; the phone is fairly rectangular, the edges around the screen are minimal, while the cameras on the back have grown significantly. Notes 20 Ultra has a rounded screen while having Notes 20 a flat screen and a fingerprint sensor is located below the screen.
A combination powerful rear cameras otherwise, it also includes a 108-megapixel wide-angle photo sensor (on the Ultra) or a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor (on the Note 20). In mode Pro Videos with advanced focus, sound, exposure and zoom, users can capture 120 frames per second using FHD functions and set the zoom speed to create high quality videos. In addition, users can adjust the recording from the microphone by focusing on the scenes they want to sound more penetrating.
Of course together with Notes 20 you also get a pen S-Pen, which was further enhanced to offer an even more similar experience than writing on paper. New features have also been added to control the phone s With-Pen and an improved algorithm for converting handwritten notes to text.
The price for the Slovenian market is not yet officially known, but we can reveal to you how much both copies cost in foreign markets. For Samsung Note 20 it is necessary to deduct there 949 euros, za Notes 20 Ultra pa 1299 euros.
Third generation flip screen
Samsung continues the series of folding screen mobile phones. Po Galaxy fold in Z Flip he came Z fold2, which will be available with two screens Infinity-O for a clear and sharp display. That means a 6,2-inch external and a large 7,6-inch internal screen.
