VW ID.4: German attack on TESLO

Volkswagen has introduced its new model ID.4, the first global electric car from Wolfsburg.

New electric Volkswagen will be powered by a 150 kW electric motor on the rear axle, the battery capacity will be in the initial versions 77 kWh (net usable value). Acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour will take 8,5 seconds and a top speed of 160 kilometers per hour. In the coming year, ID.4 will also be available with two electric motors and, accordingly, with four-wheel drive.

Volkswagen ID.4 it is 4,58 meters long and has a trunk volume of 543 liters to 1.575 liters. The wheelbase is 2,76 meters. Thus, ID.4 is ten centimeters longer and a good centimeter wider than Tiguan.

Pretty long Wheelbase and the short overhangs also in this electric car bring a spacious interior that is designed minimalist and with a focus on digitization.

Pri Volkswagen they want to produce 2025 million electric cars a year in 1,5, and ID.4 is expected to account for about a third of that number.
