Does Barcelona remain on the 2020 race calendar?

In terms of the venues of the F1 Championship for next year, we are witnessing a real direction for the last available place. If before that Hockenheim and Barcelona were considered tracks that will be left without an F2020 race in 1, now the matter has obviously turned around.

ARA reports that Barcelona is expected to hold the F1 race next year as well. It is rumored that an agreement has been reached on a one-year contract between the organizer of the racetrack in front of the Catalan capital Barcelona and the F1 bosses from Liberty Media. How it will go on, however, is not clear.

If this is true, of course, then 2020 venues would be fixed for the 20 season. And since they are expected to have 21 races next year, only one more place would be left free. Monza, Mexico and Hocokenheim are also without a contract. And in the case of Monza, all indications are that there will be an extension of the contract for several years. This would put Hockenheim out of the game for the second year and, very surprisingly, Mexico for many. The latter can only hope that the F1 calendar could possibly expand to 22 races.
