Lewis Hamilton won the best starting position for tomorrow’s German Grand Prix race in Hockenheim. Although it seemed after the general qualifiers that Ferrari would intervene in the fight for the first row this time, the Briton won the pole position easier than usual. Max Verstappen will start next to him, and Valtteri Bottas will take third place. Pierre Gasly will start in the second row next to Bottas.
In the third row, of course, also at the expense of Ferrari's pitch, we find the popular Iceman Kimi Raikkonen. Romain Grosjean will start the race next to him in the third row. The fourth row belongs to Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez, and the fifth to Nico Hülkenberg and Charles Leclerc.
Probably many of you are wondering what happened to Ferrari and what Charles Leclerc is doing in tenth place and where for God’s sake is Sebastian Vettel? In all three training sessions, both racers of the team from Maranello were at the top.
The Reds ’qualifiers can be described as follows: In just two hours, Ferrari’s happiness and smile turned to sadness and crying. First, Sebastian Vettel complained in the first part of the qualifiers that something was wrong with the car, so they called him to the pits to look into the matter. Unfortunately, this review took too long and when Vettel stepped out of the car, it was clear that his qualifications were over and that he would start tomorrow’s race as the last. In the third part of the qualifications, the same thing happened to Charles Leclerc.
Given this fact, the two silver arrow racers will definitely have an easier job at the race tomorrow. The only one who could mix Hamilton’s strings is definitely Max Verstappen. Especially if the young Dutchman managed to be the first to turn into the first bend. Nevertheless, it must be honestly admitted that tomorrow it will be difficult to beat the great Hamilton, who has once again proved that he squeezes the most out of himself when it is most needed. However, the rain could make his job more difficult, because on a wet track, many people think that it would be difficult to compete with the more aggressive Verstappn.
