First I would start with the happenings on the track, at the races. After Canada, and for many unjustified Vettl penalties, where a lot of dust rose after the race, although this would be more vividly described by a sandstorm, we witnessed the fact that race commissioners managed to close one eye in certain cases. It started in Austria, where Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen "hit" men in the last laps of the race. The latter also won the race, and the young man from Ferrari could not come to terms with the Dutchman's elbow. He announced a different, even more masculine race, and we experienced that at Silverstone as well. The race was fantastic, despite the first two places going to the silver arrows. Once again, the roosters from Austria were at work, only this time Leclerc had sharper elbows and took the last step on the stage for the winners. And if we thought and hoped that F1 should continue at least in this range of tension, we experienced a positive shock at Hockenheim. True, the weather played a major role in this remarkable thriller, but still. Anyone who has fallen asleep in this race must see a doctor immediately. And the calm will can be at least to some extent asserted that Max Verstappn’s two wins in the last three races may or may not be a truly new era this season, in which Mercedes won in the first half as much as he liked.
In addition to the fact that race commissioners have been more lax in punishment since Canada, F1 has also greatly improved its reputation. If after the race in France (Le Castellet) fans flooded social networks with criticism that had a common denominator in boredom and which also affected F1 leaders (the most sporting boss Ross Brown), in the case of the last three races these critics were no more to the surface. These last three races have shown that not everything is wrong and terrible in F1. That we were able to watch the races nailing us to chairs, armchairs and couches, though. Maybe a new era is promising in this area as well? Hopefully this will be the case and that F1 will once again be interesting to watch as well as report on.
By the way, reporting: in this area, too, we are witnessing, on a personal level, the beginning of a new era. Our new website has seen the light of day www.vmax.si, which will be used for up-to-date reporting from the F1 world. Our goal with our new project is to bring the world of F1 closer to you in the best possible light, with fresh information, news, articles, results, photos and columns. You will be able to participate on the site by commenting, but we ask you in advance to make the comments constructive and related to the topic. Comments should not be offensive and do not use inappropriate words, as we will delete this immediately. Of course, we will also be happy to receive praise, but we will not defend well-intentioned and constructive criticism.
We kindly invite you to follow us or follow us on the social networks Facebook, Instagram and twitter. Believe me, we won’t get angry at all if you like us, and we’ll be even less angry if you share us among your friends.
To spice things up on our site, in addition to informing, we will also prepare a prize game where you can participate, prove your knowledge of the F1 world, or just be lucky in the draw and win a practical prize. Let them be surprised by what they will be like. Certainly, the prizes will be associated with F1 racers or masters of photography with their artwork.
So much for the introduction to this new era of ours. We want and hope that you spend a pleasant time with us in reading information from the world of F1.
Thank you!
