Leclerc: I can no longer afford such a mistake

In Hungary, Ferrari's qualifying problems continue. If they had technical problems in Germany, this time it is the fault of the racers - more precisely the racer, in this case Charles Leclerc. Monacan finished qualifying in fourth place, just ahead of the team rival, Sebastian Vettl, who admitted at the end of the qualifications: "Getting into the top three was mission impossible today."

"We lost the most in the last sector," said Leclerc after the qualifiers. Ferrari was competitive with the best only in the first sector, where the only longer plane, and in the corners of the second and third sectors, they found themselves significantly better at Mercedes and Red Bullu.

That is why we are lagging behind the leader Max Verstappn not exactly small, exactly 0,471 seconds for Leclerc and an additional 28 thousandths for Vettl. All in all, however, it could have ended much worse for Leclerc, as in Q1 he spun at the entrance to the finish line, crashed into a guardrail and damaged the car.

After the qualifiers, he was therefore in a rather bad mood and uncompromisingly critical of himself, despite his relatively good result. “I was really lucky to be able to continue with the qualifiers. The blame for the mistake was completely on my side and absolutely unnecessary, " concluded Monaco.
