Formula 1 Calendar: Overview for the 2020 Season

Although we are only in the good half of the 2019 season, there is already a skeleton of the race calendar Formula 1 for the season 2020. Most racetracks have valid contracts anyway, while other organizers could drop off the calendar. Some races have their contracts expiring after this season and have to compete with the majority owner of the royal motorsport class. Liberty Media negotiate for a new one.

The Fiesta Mexicana will continue for the next three years - until 2022

On the safe side at the moment are 18 of the 21 races that have been held this season. These are also expected to be part of the 2020 calendar Formula 1. Uncertainty reigns in the following organizers: Spain*, Germany, and Italy* .These organizers' contracts expire at the end of the year.

* These two organizers are expected to have their contracts extended.

The Formula 1 race without Monza is a salty joke - according to Sebastian Vettel

Z Vietnam a new Asian race is on the 2020 calendar, where race cars will roar in the capital Hanoi. Also Dutch Zandvoort is on the race calendar of the 2020 season.

Chase Carey increased the original calendar for the 2020 season from 21 to 22 races

Because it is Chase carey, boss Formula 1, originally planning 21 races next year as well, should briefly pull two races. But as we know, it is Liberty Medium reluctant to give up money, the American finally asked the teams if they agreed with a calendar that would, however, contain 22 races. So in this case, only one scene is briefly drawn, and this can also be called without a hint of bad conscience: Hockenheim. Because the other three are just before the signing of new contracts.

Barcelona is also likely to remain on the calendar, although only - so rumor has it - only in 2020
