Lewis Hamilton: A Mouth to Vettl and Verstappn

The winner of the race for the Mexican Grand Prix did not spare harsh words. The Briton thought after the race that Vettel risked a killer collision, and for Max Verstappn he said the Dutchman was attracted to collisions like a magnet.

You might think it was after the race for GP of Mexico za Lewis Hamilton all in the best order. But the Briton did not skimp on the exciting race sharp words at the expense of his rivals, though everyone knows he has great respect Sebastian Vettl. At Max Verstappn however, this is probably less. “Sebastian pushed me on the way to the first bend, this maneuver was very dangerous. My start was good, I caught Leclerc, but Seb was moving more and more to my side with his car and I thought to myself: 'Hey, I'm already on the white line, I'm going to run out of space!' But Vettel was getting closer and closer and so I drove into the collision to prevent a collision. If our wheels were touched, then it would be a homicide," so Lewis Hamilton.

At a press conference, Lewis Hamilton explained to Sebastian Vettl how close it was between them before the first bend of yesterday’s race.

But for the British, this was not the end. In the area between the first and second bend Hamilton tackled another Verstappen or vice versa. Lewis said of those moments: "When I braked before the first corner, the race cars were on the left and right and suddenly Max was on my outside. If you’ve watched previous races, then you know I always leave Max enough room. That's also smart. But this time there was no room I could leave him. I almost crashed into Vettl myself because my ass was dancing and I found myself on the grass again, it was scary," so Hamilton, who adds with a smile: “It was clear to me that Max would torpedo me sooner or later."

What upset Hamilton the most was the close encounter with Max Verstappn, with whom they also collided slightly, and as a result, Hamilton damaged his car.

However, Hamilton own close duels bike by bike with Max Verstappn he doesn’t take it lightly or as fun. Asked if Max treats it differently from other competitors, said: “Yes. Every racer is a little different. Some are smart, some are very smart and aggressive, and some are stupid. From experience then you give certain racers more space. For others, however, this is not necessary because they race with respect. But Max? It’s easy with him, so a collision is very likely if you don’t give him extra space. And you do that most of the time. In this situation here in Mexico, this was not possible. I don't notice any intention in him, it's just as if he attracts such situations with a magnet."

Lewis said after the race that Max Verstappen attracts collisions like some kind of magnet.

To the question Sebastian Vettl, who sat next to Lewis Hamilton, or has one himself a similar view of Max Verstappn, the Ferrari racer replied: “Copy and paste."
