The Mazda MX-30 will be manufactured in factory Ujina I in Hiroshima, Japan, and the car was designed by Mazda specifically for European markets. It is powered by a synchronous electric motor of maximum power 107 kW, which powers the front wheelset and works with performance batteries 35,5 kWh.
That's enough for It reaches 200 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle, which should be enough for the average European user, as the latter does not travel more than 50 kilometers per day. The batteries charge up to 80 percent in 40 minutes with a quick charge, and for everyone who would like more range, Mazda promises range extender in the form of a mini rotary motor, which will be available next year.
European customers can already place orders for Mazda MX-30, which will hit showrooms this fall. Price for Slovenian market it is not yet known, but the Slovenian importer has confirmed that they have already received some pre-orders.
