One week before the inaugural race of this season, it is Pirelli published important information for this year's championship. In light of the measures taken months ago due to the coronavirus crisis, this year the team they will not have a free choice of tire compound. Pirelli posted fixed contingents rubber compounds.
In mid-June, the manufacturer black gold Formula 1 first published a mixture for eight confirmed races on European soil. But unlike before, Ferrari, Mercedes and others this year they will not be able to free to choose the quantities of individual tire mixtures, but this will be fixed.

In season 2020 will be given to each racer according to the rules two sets hard mixtures, three sets medium and eight sets soft mixtures. This selected contingent Pirelli will be valid for the entire season, including the races that follow those already confirmed in Europe.
