Name Bayon the Hyundai toddler got around the picturesque capital of the Basque part Franceand was chosen by a Korean carmaker to make it clear that it is a car designed for European market.
Hyundai bayon it measures 4,18 meters in length, 1,78 meters in width and has 2,58 meters of wheelbase. It is based on the i20 model and despite the off-road curves will not be available with four-wheel drive.

The new Bayon will be available with two-liter three-cylinder engines, of which the base version can handle 74 kW (100 HP) and 172 Nm of maximum torque, and a more powerful instance 88 kW (120 HP) and also 172 Nm of maximum torque. Both engines are supported by a 48-volt mild hybrid system, and power transmission can be taken care of six-speed manual or seven-stage two-way automatic gearbox.
