Ferrari had after the end of last season a lot of workto avoid similar ones problems also in this year’s championship. It's a team race car improved in several areas and is showing them well so far.

Of course this year title fight it is not possible, but it is better Ferrari by definition good for sports. Mattia binotto was logically under with great pressure, so he calmed expectations in advance. 2021 it won't be a year Ferrari and with this calm perspective you can binotto now breathing more calmly. In a conversation with colleagues from racer.com, the Italian looked contentedly at the race in Bahrain and on the shape of the race car SF21. "Yes, I’m relieved, definitely because we might be working in a better position and that’s healthy for the team. It is important that the team can work in a healthy condition to stay calm and positive. For me, this was important, so I am glad that the car has progressed, established peace in the team, where we can work in a better way."

Mattia Binotto, the boss of the Ferrari team, is happy with the current form of the SF21 race car, and for next year, when the new rules come into force, he promises a completely new engine, which he hopes will be the benchmark for everyone else.

One of things, which can help with that, is definitely drive unit improvement, which appears to be more competitive, which was shown to some extent in the inaugural race in Bahrain. For now, that's it first step in the right direction, so binotto, and the team will be years 2022when new rules appear with a new generation of race cars, presented completely new drive unit, which should be at least competitive enough. binotto hopes this new powertrain will even criterion for all others manufacturers.
