Marc Marquez he announced the good news that his doctors were after the examination allowed to perform at the third race of the MotoGP season in Portugal next weekend.

Marquez underwent surgery on his broken right arm last December, and has been patiently waiting ever since for the moment when his physical condition will allow him to return to the motorcycle. Doctors advised him against taking part in the first two races of the season in Qatar last month, although he had previously ridden minibics and then completed a few more test laps in Honda's Honda RC231V-S motorcycle. According to initial predictions, the full recovery should take about six months, but according to doctors, the current health condition is already good enough for the six-time world champion to return to racing, taking into account a certain degree of risk.
Before the performance, he will undergo a mandatory medical examination at the racetrack, which is supposed to be a mere formality.
The Spaniard returns to the races after a long, nine-month absence, and begins the march to win his ninth world title. By the end of this season, he is expected to have 17 races in which he will have to make up 40 points behind for Johann Zarc, which leads in the championship standings. Stefan bradl, who replaced Marquez since the Czech Grand Prix last year, currently ranks 12th with 7 points after failing to reach the top ten in Qatar. Marquez's new teammate Espargaro Pol however, he is in tenth place in the championship score.
