Overtaking is usually the most important curiosity factor Formula 1 races. A look at the statistics reveals which tracks they are the most exciting, but it is also interesting to see how interesting it is with overtaking angle it was also last year.

V era of hybrid engines, so from 2014 onwards, the number of overtaking varied considerably from season to season and although it was initially noticeable an increasing trend in their number, are the changes to the 2017 rules that have brought wider race cars, this trend turned down. Nevertheless, 2019 again brought some more overtaking, but last season there were fewer overtaking again, even if we look at the average overtaking per race.

It is also interesting to look at the graph in terms of the average number of all overtaking at each venue where it leads Portimao, in which only one Formula 1 race was run, followed by him Hockenheim, Baku, Shanghai in Bahrain.

Last year we saw as many as 58 overtaking in Portimao.

On the other hand, it was last year Imola unlike this year one of the poorest, at least as far as overtaking is concerned, even for the proverbial overtaking of reluctant Monaco. However, the question arises as to whether it is really everyone overtaking maneuver worthy of his name and inscription.
