Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin) - 2nd place
"It means a lot to me to be on the winning podium again. It was a tough start to the racing weekend for us, but we had a good race. We had good speed and that was the key. I made a good start and immediately gained a few spots, then looked after my tires until everyone else turned into the pits. After the stop, I overtook Yuki and the flying start was excellent for me, as I was able to gain two more places, and we also had fresher tires by the end of the race."
Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri) - 3rd place
"Unbelievable. I do not know what to say. It was a crazy race. These last two rounds were very intense. The race car was fast all weekend. The qualifiers were great, but I didn’t know if I could fight for the podium. And we did that. Before that I finished in first and second place, now I have added a third. But we had to work hard for that result. The race was tough for me and due to an engine problem we were losing quite a bit of speed on the planes. During the race, Seb overtook me and I knew the last laps would be very difficult as Charles was behind me. But I really wanted those podiums and it ended well."
