Johann zarco (Pramac Racing) won the duel for the best starting position against a compatriot Fabio Quartararoju. He led most of the qualifications, but in the end gave up a bit, which is an experienced member semi-factory Ducati took advantage of it.

“I am really happy with the qualifications. We were able to make the most of the tires, which responded very well to the heat. I hope to repeat something similar in the race, which would put me in a position to fight for a high ranking, ”He said after the qualifications Zarco.

Johann Zarco will start the race at the Sachsenring from pole position.

Alex Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) advanced to third place with an excellent last lap, Jack Miller however, in the last attempt he pushed ahead of Marco Marquez, who this time could not be higher than fifth place. Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) was very convincing in Friday afternoon training, but this time he raced for the aforementioned five and finished in sixth place.

George Martin (Bow Racing), Espargaro Pol (Repsol Honda Team), Takaaki Nakagami (LCR Honda IDEMITSU) and Francis Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) ranked between seventh and tenth place, which, given the tolerable backlog, allows them to fight for a more visible ranking in the race.
