MaxVerstappen, Red Bull - winner"It's really great. The race car was like on rails, on all tires. It was really nice to race. I myself am surprised at how it went today, as I did not expect it myself. Everyone did a really good job, trying to make us do it. At the beginning of the weekend, everyone sees us as a favorite, but then it is still difficult to achieve such a result. These two weekends here have been really wonderful. At the start, I had to be awake to gain an advantage. I knew that if I was fast here, I could drive my race. It was nice to see all the fans here too and so much orange. This gives me a lot of motivation and especially in the final rounds, the orange color only intensified."
Valtteri Bottas, Mercedes - second place"For me, this one place was better than last weekend when I started the race as fifth. We got some decent points given the lag we have up to Red Bullbut in terms of speed. It’s nice to be on the podium in second place. It was also the most we could win. McLaren was surprisingly fast, they put a lot of pressure. We’re going to Silverstone in two weeks and a lot of work still needs to be done. For now, though, I’ll enjoy the champagne."
Lando Norris, McLaren - third place"Thanks to everyone, including the fans. It was a lot of fun, it was a good race, it was exciting, but I’m disappointed because I should have been in second place. I thought the first lap was a real race, Perez wanted to go outside, which was a bit silly and he got off the track himself, I didn’t touch him at all. So I don't know, I'm disappointed, but at the same time I'm happy with the third place. We had very good speed and yes, I am happy. I think we had good speed, I was able to follow Bottas, even in dirty air, but too little to get into the DRS area. It’s nice to know we can be there and fight. This is probably the first race in many years that we were able to compete with Mercedes and Red Bulli. I hope we can continue next time."
