Temperature they will move between all three days 28 degrees Celsius to 31 degrees Celsius. And these temperatures will of course also affect the asphalt surface, which will most likely exceed 50 degrees Celsius. And this will mean that Pirelli tires will also play an important role.

Tire mixtures of the Hungarian GP

Pirelli will bring a mix of from the last race before the summer break C2 to C4. There will be a mixture in this C2 at the race represented hard mixture (white mark), C3 medium mixture (yellow mark) and C4 soft mixture (red mark). Although hungaroring considered to some extent almoststreet track without buildings“, But the Italians are probably out precautions due to the high temperatures, they did not opt for their softest set of tires.

Mario Isola, Pirelli's sports boss"Regarding the tires at the Hungaroring, we do not expect any big surprises, as it is a constant on the calendar and marks the end of the first half of the season. The track is characterized by fast consecutive tight turns, without long planes for cooling tires and, of course, hot weather. As a result, Hungaroring is actually more demanding on tires than it initially seems, so it will probably be necessary to master the soft compound in particular. As a result, the best strategy is not always obvious - with different approaches they often get a similar total race time, depending on the individual circumstances. Because of this, we often saw some tactically interesting races at the Hungaroring, which kept the final result in doubt until the end and posed an interesting challenge for the engineers."
