McLaren acquires MAJORITY stake in IndyCar team Arrow McLaren SP

McLaren Racing under the leadership of CEO Zak Brown has great ambitions not only in Formula 1, but also in other racing series.

Recently, the company has taken a new step towards a full return to IndyCar by increasing your share of the team Arrow McLaren SP IndyCar to 75 percent. McLaren is now its majority owner.

McLaren bought the share from partners and co-owners of the team Schmidt-Peterson, as published on their official website. How much they deducted for the said share was not disclosed. There will also be an organizational shift with the purchase; the board of directors will be composed of three executives McLaren ter Sam schmidt in Ric peterson, otherwise the founder of the team.

Zak Brown and McLaren Racing have committed to the IndyCar series.
