GP OF BELGIUM, FP2: Afternoon second training session with two breaks VERSTAPPNU

Max Verstappen won the second training session of the Belgian GP this afternoon, followed closely by both Mercedes racers Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton. The training was shortened by two red flags, one of which was also caused by Verstappen.

In the second free practice, the hunt for the best time was initially quite restrained. It wasn’t until the second half that the teams set out to hunt for the best time on a soft rubber compound. In doing so, he achieved the fastest time Max Verstappen namely 1: 44.472 minutes.

Incidents

The start of training was calm, but despite the large excursion zones, the Spa racetrack later claimed its victims.
