BOTTAS hopes for updates: THE RACER is no longer evolving

Valtteri Bottas did not perform the best in the last race before the 2021 summer break, the Hungarian Grand Prix at the Hungaroring.

The driver of team Mercedes, who usually does not drive risky, caused after a bad start chain runwhen he wanted to make up for lost places. He is now waiting for his team to decide who will be their second racer in the 2022 season.

Finn strives to maintain a focus on achieving the best possible results for its team and considers that Silverstone will not be the last for Mercedes this season. “I think more will come,”Is Bottas said in an interview with Hypebeast. "I don't think we have performed as well as we can as a team, but fortunately we still have a long way to go until the end of the season.”Pred British GP there was some confusion when Toto wolff claimed that the team would no longer improve the car this year, which contradicted the technical director’s claim James Allison.

Valtteri Bottas, whose headquarters for the Mercedes team for 2022 is really shaky, is hoping for some more updates to the car this season.

"The fact is that we are no longer developing the current race car in the factory, but improvements are still coming. If you find something in the wind tunnel, it takes a while before you can get those parts on the track,”He explained Bottas. "We had some new parts at Silverstone and I hope to have more coming later. But at some point we’re going to have to stop, as big changes are coming next year and the team needs to find a balance between the performance of this year’s race car and the new one in 2022,”He concluded Bottas.
