WOLFF sees spectacular VERSTAPPNA: "It's not good for the championship"

Because the Dutch team racer Red Bull finished the race in second place and mitigated the damage to the maximum, so now for Hamilton it is only two points behind.

The end result of the race was also a disappointment for Tota Wolff, who was counting on a great show Hamilton. For the team boss Mercedes Benz it was a disappointment in terms of the championship, as he issued in a conversation with colleagues from Motorsport. "In a way, we don’t score as many points as possible and today it was the same. I think the qualifications were decisive. Valtteri went backwards due to changing the engine and we knew it was going to be tough, but we finished first and fifth, which is without a doubt very good."

Max Verstappn's second place did not please Mercedes, as Hamilton did not secure a bigger advantage in the championship, but Wolff admits that the Dutchman is in spectacular form.

"But Max has recovered in spectacular form and that's not good for the championship, that's not good in the fight for the title," so Wolff, which, however, does not throw the rifle into the corn. “We need to continue to be aggressive in our approach this season, we must not be in a defensive position, but only make progress to reach these big points. Because neither we nor others are currently scoring the highest possible points."
