BMW i Vision Dee with a MINIMALIST design and a huge HEAD-UP screen

At BMW, they have finally revealed the mystery surrounding the name Dee, which represents a digital emotional experience.

The Bavarians are at the shape of the concept and Vision Dee held a well-known saying "less is more", and the whole thing is a kind of preview of the electric vehicle that they will be like sedan i3 presented at BMW in two or three years. It all seems like an interesting mix of futurism and retro basics of the designs known as New Class.

The front part at least somewhat summarizes the shape of the concept model i Vision Circular, which was presented at BMW two years ago, and for the sake of convenience, it was placed next to the model in one of the photos and Vision Dee.

According to the allegations BMW the headlights and the radiator grille are joined together to form "phygital icon" with a combination of physical and digital on a single surface, which means that it can change its appearance with help E-Ink technology. Dee he can express his mood and facial expressions in this way and even talk to people. A picture may be taken as part of the welcome scenario the driver's avatar projects onto the side windows.

Inside, you'll search in vain for physical buttons. Instead, there is a ti on the dashboard BMW Mixed Reality Slider with touch-sensitive sensors. These control the huge head-up display that spans the entire width of the windshield. Five selectable modes allow the driver to choose how much content they want on the screen.

The steering wheel is the same unconventional like other parts of the car. It has vertical spokes and touch points (again BMW calls them "Phygital") to control the content projected on the windshield by the huge head-up display. The windows we mentioned earlier are tinted to "gradually blur reality" and make the interior of the concept more inviting.

BMW says that an advanced head-up display will be introduced in a production model that hits the market in 2025 It will be the first electric car based on the architecture New Class. Let us remind you that the Bavarians will start with two models in the middle segment, so we can expect the sedans of the 3 series and the iX3. They also boasted about new battery cells, which have a 20 percent higher energy density and enable a 30 percent longer range and 30 percent faster charging.
