In the age of crossovers, Renault is committed to the people offer an alternative and keep multi-purpose vehicles alive. The new Grand Kangoo, presented at the IAA 2023 mobility fair in Munich, offers maximum practicality at an affordable price for those who have not yet been taken over by SUVs. A new MPV based on the third generation of the Kangoo model, which came to market in 2020, naturally has a modular interior with seven individual seats.

Grand Kangoo E-Tech it has a lithium-ion battery with a useful capacity of 45 kWh, which is sufficient for transportation of up to 265 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. When you run out of power, the 80 kW DC charger increases the range to 170 kilometers in 27 minutes or 80 kilometers in 10 minutes. Using an AC charger, the battery is charged from 10 to 80 percent in 2 hours and 40 minutes. The warranty for the battery is eight years or 160.000 kilometers. If the performance decreases during this period below 70 percent, Renault will replace it free of charge.
Other goodies include a heat pump, reversing camera, heated front seats and steering wheel, and electric rear windows and EasyLink infotainment system. Renault will start accepting orders at the end of this year, and will start delivering them at the beginning of 2024. Great Kangoo will be assembled in the factory Maubeuge in northern France.
