ŠKODA Superb on official sketches before the PREMIERE on November 2

Škoda has published some revealing sketches of the upcoming fourth generation model Superb in hatchback and van body styles and announced that it will world premiere on November 2.

New silhouette Damage Superb we already know well from previous trailers, but the sketches reveal new details of the exterior design. The Superb remains instantly recognisable, but that's because it's new Skoda's Modern Solid design language look sharper. Among the most important are the new slimmer LED matrix headlights and LED taillights, which have "crystal" elements for a more premium look. The radiator grille appears wider, as does the intake section of the bumper, which is accented with a chrome strip.

It's a new generation longer, higher and more aerodynamic than its predecessor, as it has a drag coefficient of 0,24. The station wagon measures 4.912 mm in length, while the Combi stretches to 4.902 mm and has the same wheelbase of 2.841 mm.

They are on the dashboard 13-inch screen touch infotainment system, 10-inch virtual cockpit, head-up display and new rotary buttons “Smart Dials” with built-in screens.

Oliver Stefani, head of the design department Skoda Design, said: "The Superb has traditionally shaped Škoda's design language and the fourth generation of the model will continue this: its appearance is characterized by sharply defined lines, clearly defined and dynamic proportions and modern design."

Škoda has already shown us the interior of the new Superb. They are on the dashboard 13-inch screen touch infotainment system, 10-inch virtual cockpit, head-up display and new rotary buttons “Smart Dials” with built-in screens. The company claims that headroom and luggage space have increased compared to the previous Superb "significantly increased". More specifically, the volume of the trunk amounts to 645 lv hatchbacks in 690 lv to Combi, and the 28 available Simply Clever functions further enhance practicality.

The flagship of the brand with an internal combustion engine is based on a refined version MQB architecture and is closely related to the VW Passat Variant. The engine range is very similar to the Kodiaq SUV and includes diesel, petrol, petrol mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, although the latter is available only for the Combi body version. All power units are connected exclusively to a DSG automatic transmission, which transmits power to the front or all four wheels.

Although Fr the new Skoda Superb we already know almost everything, its official premiere is scheduled next week, so stay tuned.
