Now here's something new from the company mitsuoka, which is also something special.

Let's say hello Mitsuoko Ryugi. It is Toyota Corolla, which looks like a British luxury sedan from the distant past. Corolla is something between a London cab and Rolls from the 50s of the last century. Well, good. Ryugi it's actually been on the road since 2014. Now there's a minor update with more equipment. But the unusual appearance remains. The front part is decorated quite a lot unusual face, which reminds of Rover P5 from the late fifties or Jaguar Mark II from the same period. But Ryugi not only available as a sedan, but also with a hatchback for practical eccentrics.

Under the hood is a Japanese one Corolla last generation (E160). In fact, it's still in production – as a sedan Corolla Axios and a van Corolla fielder. And this despite the fact that the current generation Corolla E210 has been leaving the production line since 2018. According to the magazine best car Shops Toyota produced the old car only as a fleet, starting in 2022.

Ta automotive oddity available with front- or all-wheel drive. The gearbox is manual 5-speed or automatic CVT. Mitsuoka refreshed Ryugi sold with a 1,5 liter petrol engine, also available in hybrid version. In 2024, the car will get more equipment, such as an auto-dimming interior mirror. As with most other vehicles Mitsuoka customization is limited to the exterior. The interior is practically unchanged compared to standard Corolla. At least the company puts its brand name on the steering wheel and stamps it your logo into the seats, but that's where the changes end. This is how a wild transformation of the exterior combined with a very sober interior makes Ryugi in a way even more unusual.
