The new Zeekr 7X wants to compete with the Tesla Model Y

Brand zeekr, which falls under the umbrella of the company Geely, is one of the more compelling brands launched by the Chinese in recent years. First of all, they are attractive limousine 007 faced the Tesla Model 3, and now they faced the new one to the 7X model tackled yet Tesla Model Y.

Preliminary details of electric SUV reveal that it is based on the same SEA architecture as the 007 and will be sold with two battery pack variants: 75 kWh (LFP) and 100 kWh (NMC). In addition, two powertrain configurations will be available, including a standard rear-wheel drive version with 306 kW (416 hp) combined with one or the other battery pack, while the flagship dual-motor version will be able to 468 kW (637 HP).

Zeekr 7X is 75 mm longer than Model Y, as it is 4.825 mm long, 1.930 mm wide, 1.666 mm high and has a 2.925 mm wheelbase, making the latter slightly longer than the Tesla Model Y (2.891 mm).

Although many details about to the 7X model are not yet known and confirmed, the new electric SUV will be available with air suspension and several different designs of 19- and 20-inch wheels. Buyers can also choose to install advanced technology LiDAR.

Zeekr 7X visually shares some design features with electric minivan Mix. This includes a similar placement of trick LED headlights "Stargate", which can display text and can also be found on limousine 007. The rear of the 7X is fairly simple, with a full-width LED light bar and a black bumper.

Tesla's competitor weighs from 2,298 kg to 2,475 kg, depending on the specification. No range figures have been given at this early stage, but it's unlikely to be far from the 007, which in China's test cycle on a single charge to 688 km.
