The collection includes Vanquish Zagato models in Volante, Shooting Brake and Speedster versions, as well as the extremely rare DBS GT Zagato. This is probably a unique opportunity to acquire an almost complete set of recent Aston Martins with Zagato styling, missing only the Vanquish Zagato Coupe.
Vanquish Zagato models were produced in very limited numbers - 99 each of the Volante and Shooting Brake models, and only 28 units of the Speedster model. Despite everything, the DBS GT Zagato is the rarest of the entire group, as only 19 examples were produced. This example was originally part of the DBZ Centenary Collection paired with the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation and was priced at £6 million (€7,2 million). It is now available separately, which could increase its value.
The Vanquish Zagato models are based on the previous generation Aston Martin Vanquish (2012-2018) and are powered by a naturally aspirated V12 with 592 hp. The DBS GT Zagato is based on the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and boasts a more powerful twin-turbo V12 that helps it develop 750 hp.
Aston Martin Works, the British marque's heritage division, has yet to reveal a price for this unique collection. Given the rarity and desirability of Zagato models, however, the final sale price is expected to reach into the millions. The cars are currently located in the UK, but delivery costs are likely to be a negligible factor for wealthy collectors interested in this offering.
This sale represents a rare opportunity to acquire an important collection of Aston Martin Zagato models that showcase the stunning design and performance resulting from this iconic collaboration.
