Cadillac and Europe are one of those things. It is not the first time that an American manufacturer has tried to establish itself in some way on the old continent with one or another automotive product. The Escalade used to be a great test balloon. However, it was cancelled. But now you can only buy the new and all-electric Lyriq through the official sales channel.
A full-bodied, full-fledged SUV with a 6,2-liter supercharged V8 engine, almost 700 hp and almost 1.000 Nm of torque, may even end up having more options in our markets! Simply due to the fact that you cannot find such an exaggerated model among the downsizing competition in the EU? So thought AEC, the importer who is now the official distributor of this model. Yes... The Cadillac Escalade-V, which oozes American automotive spirit from every pore, is (semi-officially) coming to Europe. But not in the freshly redesigned 2025 version, but still as a 2024 model.

"The Cadillac Escalade V Series is more than just a vehicle. It is a symbol of luxury, power and prestige. We are proud to bring this exclusive model to Europe and offer customers an unrivaled blend of performance and elegance," said Andrew Pilsworth, CEO of AEC.

Prices? You won't find them right now. Pricing for the 2024 Escalade-V starts at $154.290, or just under $143.000 at current exchange rates. Taxes, an AEC cost allowance and one or two other cost items are likely to quickly push the price over the €200.000 mark in this country. Is it worth it? Well, yes…
