Lexus further differentiates its model range and now offers a more robust 'Overtrail' version in the NX range alongside the bold F-Sport models. With increased ground clearance and adapted equipment, it should offer the usual comfort and decent off-road capabilities.
Lexus strives to fulfill all customer wishes and continues to expand its model series. Already available in the regular 'Entry' variant, the daring 'F Sport' variant and the luxurious 'Executive Line' variant, the premium hit NX has now got another addition. The new Lexus NX Overtrail differs from the regular Lexus NX in several ways, especially in terms of design, off-road performance and equipment.
The Overtrail is 15 mm higher than the regular NX model, which gives it more ground clearance and thus greater off-road performance. It is fitted with special 18-inch matte black aluminum wheels fitted with rough-tread all-terrain tires. These tires provide better grip and stability on uneven terrain. The exterior of the Overtrail is characterized by black body details and an exclusive Sahara beige color. The purpose of these design elements is to emphasize the robust character of the vehicle.
The interior of the Overtrail vehicle is equipped with durable Tahara artificial leather seats in a combination of black and apricot green. These materials are particularly durable and easy to clean, making them ideal for use in more demanding environments. The headrests, armrests, door trims and stitching of the black trim are also finished in moss green, giving the interior a unique and elegant look. In addition, there are new applications in the color Trailwood with a natural wood pattern, which give the interior a warm and natural atmosphere.
The Overtrail has an adaptive chassis and a new Trail mode, which has been specially developed for a stable and comfortable ride on uneven or loose surfaces. Ambient lighting offers 64 colors, including more than a dozen colors that reflect moods inspired by nature. This contributes to a pleasant and relaxing driving experience. Both versions of the Overtrail, the NX 350h Hybrid with 244 hp and the NX 450h+ Plug-in Hybrid with 309 hp, are exclusively equipped with all-wheel drive. This improves grip and stability on various surfaces.
At EUR 72.700 for the NX 350h and EUR 73.740 for the NX 450h+, the prices for the Overtrail, which you can already order in the configurator, are almost EUR 20.000 higher than the 'Entry' model and about the same level as the 'F Sport' model.
