As is typical for Toyota, the brand made a big effort at this year's SEMA. The company has already announced two fantastic vehicles for Las Vegas – the Land Cruiser convertible and the two-door 4Runner – and we suspect there will be more to come.
Calty Design designed the open Land Cruiser Rox. The company, which also reworked the current GR Supra and other modern Toyota models, removed the C and D pillars from the Land Cruiser and replaced the roof with an adjustable soft top. The company also added some extra stiffness to make up for the lack of metal.

Otherwise, the special Land Cruiser features half doors, widened fenders, off-road tires, a light bar, and rugged upgrades like steel bumpers and reinforced underbody protection. It even has a functional half rear door with a spare wheel that opens for easy access.
As for the 4Runner, Toyota is bringing it back to 5s Southern California beach culture with the retro TRD Surf concept. At the same time, the basic concept is reminiscent of Marty McFly's 1985 Toyota SRXNUMX Xtra Cab, which he drove in the movie "Back to the Future".
Based on the 2024Runner, the 4 pick-up concept lacks the rear doors and the other half of the roof, instead offering an open cabin with a roller blind and space for surfboards. It has two-tone ocean paint with turquoise accents, all-terrain wheels and tires, and a slightly raised undercarriage.

Under the hood, the 4Runner Concept uses a standard 2,4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 282 hp and 430 Nm of torque, but is equipped with a special exhaust system that gives it a deeper sound. The engine is mated to the same eight-speed automatic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive.
The Land Cruiser Rox and 4Runner TRD Surf will be on display at the Toyota booth when the doors open at SEMA next month. SEMA begins on November 5th at the Las Vegas Convention Center and runs through November 8th.
