MH2 450 - At first glance, Manhart fans may be surprised by this model designation. After all, at first glance, the MH2 designation appears to indicate an optimized version of the BMW M2 model. But then "only" 450 hp? That would be less than the standard version! The solution to this conundrum is that the base in this case is not actually a top-of-the-range BMW compact coupe model.
The MH2 450 is actually based on its smaller sibling, the M240i. In addition to the performance increase, it naturally received various other technical and visual improvements on the way to the MH2 450 model. As is known, the M240i is powered by a three-liter B58 Twin Power turbo inline-six engine. With turbocharging, it provides 374 hp and 500 Nm ex works. With the MH2 450 engine, the power of the power unit is increased to 440 hp and 600 Nm of maximum torque with the help of its own MHtronik auxiliary control unit.
The Grail rear muffler with flap function and four 100 mm tailpipes provide the appropriate soundscape. For those for whom the performance on offer is not enough, Manhart also offers additional level 2 and level 3 upgrades on request. In this case, the braking system remains unchanged, but individual upgrades are possible on request.
20-inch wheels in the chosen color
For the suspension, lower springs from H&R or Variant 4 suspension from KW are available, which enable even more sporty handling and at the same time lower the MH2 450. The keyword lowering also directly affects the visual perfection of the coupe. Lowering the body allows the built-in Concave One rims to fit perfectly under the fenders. They measure 9×20 inches in the front and 10,5×20 inches in the rear and have an unusual glossy white finish.
Manhart also offers customers the option of custom rim color configurations. Tires measure 245/30ZR20 at the front and 285/25ZR20 at the rear. The tuner has also refined the body of the MH2 450 with a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser and rear spoiler – all made of carbon fiber. The exterior is rounded off by a not-so-inconspicuous set of Manhart decals.
Last but not least, the steering wheel with a new leather and Alcantara covering, including black painted spokes and carbon fiber gear levers, adds an individual touch to the interior.
