You can buy Ken Block's 914 HP Hoonitruck

Ken Block certainly played a decisive role in making YouTube what it is today. Few people used the platform like he did. His Gymkhana videos became a complete must-see as soon as they were released. Millions of views were inevitable.

Anyone who knows and loves Block's films will surely remember Hoonitruck. This is a 150 Ford F-1977 with a powertrain from a modern Ford GT. It can be seen in the films Gymkhana 10 and Climbkhana 2, where Ken Block drives him in epic style up China's Tianmen Mountain on one of the most dangerous roads in the world. Now you can think of it too.

Hoonigan and Block built the Hoonitruck with Detroit Speed. Unveiled at the 2018 SEMA Show, the Pick-Up features a tubular frame and handcrafted aluminum body panels that give it the look of a 150 Ford F-1977.

It's low and wide, with heavily flared fenders, a special Ford Performance intake manifold, and twin turbochargers protruding from the hood. The drive is provided by a 3,5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine with 914 hp. The racing engine is based on the Le Mans-winning Ford GT power unit. It is shifted by a 6-speed Sadev gearbox. Custom four-wheel drive is also available. The truck has a remote start function and a trailer hitch.

Barrett-Jackson Auction House will sell the truck at an auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, from January 18-26. The Hooni truck was last offered for sale in 2021. At that time, its price was 1,1 million US dollars, or about 1,06 million euros. This included spare parts such as body panels, lights, chassis, wheels and more. Ken Block tragically died just over a year ago after a snowmobile accident.
