The smaller, all-electric luxury SUV borrows technology from Porsche and Audi, and is set to hit the roads in 2027.
Bentley is rapidly developing its second, slightly smaller, all-electric SUV, which was recently spotted testing under cover of night in the winter. It is currently being called the “Urban SUV” internally and will slot directly below the popular Bentayga in the model range. Despite the somewhat cool market for electric vehicles, the British brand is firmly confident in its success, as its camouflaged prototype is already revealing a unique lighting signature on the road with four separate elements at the front and narrow LED rear lights.

Underneath the prestigious sheet metal hides the powerful Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, which the newcomer shares with the upcoming electric Porsche Cayenne. While the entry-level Cayenne offers 300 kW (408 hp) and in the stunning Turbo version reaches 775 kW (1.053 hp), the basic electric Bentley is expected to serve up a sovereign 447 kW (608 hp). Its main technological trump card will be the astonishing charging speed, as the ultra-fast system on direct current (DC) will restore 160 kilometers of range to the battery in a mere seven minutes.
Spy shots of the interior reveal thoughtful sharing of components within the VW group, as the cabin combines a Porsche-style curved central display with steering wheel-mounted paddles that are almost directly transferred from the new Audi Q3. Despite the “borrowed” switches and displays, the rest of the cabin will be dressed in uncompromising luxury and premium materials befitting the winged B badge. The production model will likely be presented to the public this year, with the first deliveries to European customers planned for 2027.
