The new E7X electric SUV, developed specifically for the Chinese market, represents a complete departure from the brand's European design and technological guidelines.
With the official presentation of the E7X in China, Audi has shown a completely new design direction that moves away from the classic models known in other markets. The large electric SUV measures 5049 millimeters in length, 1997 millimeters in width and 1710 millimeters in height, with a wheelbase of a luxurious 3060 millimeters. Instead of the traditional radiator grille, the front is dominated by hundreds of tiny LED elements, and the futuristic look is complemented by sharp body lines, hidden door handles and cameras that have replaced the classic exterior mirrors.

The E7X also brings a new technological foundation, relying on battery cells from CATL, and battery packs with a capacity of 100 kWh and 109,3 kWh will be available. Depending on the selected configuration, the vehicle will provide between 615 and 751 kilometers of electric range. The basic version will be powered by a 296 kW (402 hp) electric motor mounted on the rear axle, while the more prestigious dual-motor version will offer as much as 493 kW (671 hp) of system power, allowing the luxury SUV to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 3,97 seconds.

While the exterior and powertrain have been revealed in detail, the interior remains a mystery for now. The full cabin reveal will take place at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show next month. Prices for the newcomer will also be officially announced at that time, with experts expecting the E7X to be significantly more affordable than comparable European electric alternatives.
