A so-called conversion based on the Chevrolet Corvette C6, combining the raw power of a V8 engine with the elegance of European design, was sold at auction for 62.700 euros.
The N2A Anteros, built by California-based N2A Motors, is a unique vision of a sports car, with the chassis and engineering of the Chevrolet Corvette C6 completely hidden under a carbon fiber body. The exterior, painted in Dark Ming Blue metallic, draws inspiration from classic Italian exotics, highlighted by the long front hatchback, mesh grille and round taillights. Despite the drastic visual change, the vehicle retains a practical targa roof that allows open-air driving, complementing its unique character.

Under the unique shell lies a proven mechanical system based on the 6,0-liter LS2 V8 engine. It develops 298 kW (406 hp) of power and 542 Nm of torque, and the power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Powerful Wilwood brakes with slotted and drilled discs ensure safe stopping, while the driving characteristics are improved by stepped alloy wheels with Kumho tires. The technical package thus promises an authentic sporting experience typical of American sports cars of that era.

Despite the high selling price, which is close to the value of a new Corvette C8, the car is surrounded by some uncertainties regarding its past. The Carfax report still lists the vehicle as a 2005 Corvette, but also warns of possible manipulation of the odometer in the past. Although the digital odometer currently shows approximately 24.000 kilometers, the actual status remains unknown. Nevertheless, for 62.700 EUR, the new owner got a technically reliable and visually outstanding car that will certainly not go unnoticed on the road.
