There have been quite a few of these since the launch of this powerful SUV in December 2019. Now another one is joining them – the latest version of the so-called Abt RSQ8-S.
This is based on the latest facelift of the mighty Audi and offers the familiar performance enhancement program, a carbon aerodynamic package, chassis, wheels and some interior optimizations. The focus is on the so-called Abt Power R power upgrade. It is adapted to both factory power levels of the RS Q8 and increases the output by up to 140 hp and 130 Nm compared to the basic vehicle.
The standard configuration of the RS Q8 with 600 hp and 800 Nm is changed to around 740 hp and 920 Nm. The more powerful RS Q8 Performance version with 640 hp and 850 Nm reaches around 760 hp and 980 Nm. The enhancer from Kempten does not specify the driving performance, but speaks of a “clearly noticeable increase in power”. The aero package consists of a front spoiler, front axle track ventilation and a rear spoiler.
A stainless steel exhaust system with four 102 mm diameter matte black tailpipes is integrated into the new tailpipes. Dynamic driving improvements come in the form of electronic lowering and the car's own 23-inch sports wheels with 295/35 R23 tires.
Inside, Abt is focusing on "targeted refinements that discreetly but visibly set the RSQ8-S apart from the production version." This includes the refinement of the seats with logos on the headrests and the RSQ8-S logo, the steering wheel plaque and the gear lever cover made of matte carbon fiber. Also new: door lighting with logo, floor mats and sills with RSQ8-S lettering, a boot mat and the Abt Start-Stop switch cover.
The ABT RSQ8-S package is available immediately at a price of 53.000 euros. In addition, installation costs of 6.380 euros and the costs of the TÜV inspection must be paid.
