Mansory has created a very turquoise, two-door convertible version of the G-Class

The "Top Marques Monaco" fair was held recently. It is mainly attended by people with very deep pockets. Mansory has been impressing at this glittering event for years and this year it was present in style again. One of the biggest attractions is this converted two-door convertible based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63.

Why are we reporting on this spectacular transformation so objectively? Well, this is not the first door modification and roof removal carried out by this prestigious tuner from Germany. In June 2025, he presented us with such a carefully modified G-Benz sedan. At that time, even in the pop-art Monopoly design of the artist Alec Monopoly.

The latest G-Class model from Mansory is called “Azura” and fits perfectly into the fair in the Principality. As we almost expected, the G is, according to Mansory, “along with the Lamborghini Urus and the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, one of the most sought-after entry-level vehicles for complete conversions in the context of high-end vehicle individualization.” That’s why they now offer eight different G versions, two of which are open-top.

To convert the Mansory Speranza (a four-door G-cabriolet) that serves as the basis into a two-door cabriolet, unsurprisingly, “very extensive body modifications” are required. Simply put: extending and converting the doors into so-called “suicide” doors (doors attached to the rear of the B-pillar) = very demanding.

Since the roof of the vehicle, which is now gone, is also a load-bearing part of the body, the entire vehicle structure had to be thoroughly adapted. Various body reinforcements (in the frame and sill areas) are therefore used. The convertible roof of the Azura (available in several fabric colours) opens and closes completely electrically, is padded and is therefore suitable for use all year round.

But the desire for a convertible requires a lot of work not only on the outside, but also on the inside. According to Mansory, numerous trims, various seals and the vehicle's electrical system have been changed.

Under the hood, the 4,0-liter biturbo V8 from the production G 63 with 585 hp has been upgraded with larger turbochargers, a new exhaust system and modified engine electronics. The result is 820 hp and an increase in maximum torque from 850 to 1.150 Nm. The tuner promises acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,0 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. Consumption is said to be 15,1 liters.

The Azura is equipped with 10×24 inch wheels. The tire size is 295/30R24. On the car on display, the rims are painted in two colors.

Inside, as usual, everything you can imagine is available. This applies to the color scheme, the type of leather used, the quilted leather surfaces and the shape of the carbon elements. In the rear of the G Cabriolet there is a single seat, which is combined with a center console that can be customized.
