Lamborghini introduces a series of open-top supercars with its new Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster, limited to 15 units.
The launch took place at the second edition of the Lamborghini Arena in Sant'Agata Bolognese. The Roadster is based on the Fenomeno Coupé, which was launched in 2025, and continues the tradition of exclusive Lamborghini models in small series that began with the Lamborghini Reventón Roadster in 2009.
The new Lamborghini, like its closed brother, is powered by a hybrid drivetrain consisting of a 6,5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine and three electric motors. The total system output is 1.080 hp, making the Fenomeno Roadster the most powerful production convertible in the company's history, according to Lamborghini. The V12 engine alone develops 835 hp at 9.250 rpm and provides 725 Nm of torque. Two electric motors are mounted on the front axle, while the third is mounted above the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 7 kWh battery also allows for electric-only driving over shorter distances.

This Lamborghini convertible is a modern hypercar in terms of performance. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2,4 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 6,8 seconds. The top speed is over 340 km/h. The basis for this is a carbon fiber structure with a monocoque and a front section made of forged composite. Lamborghini speaks of a "monofuselage" architecture, which is based on the Revuelto model. The aim of the design is high torsional rigidity, low weight and improved crash properties.
The chassis is equipped with manually adjustable racing dampers, which allow driving on both roads and racetracks. Braking is provided by a carbon-ceramic braking system of the CCM-R Plus type, which is derived from motorsport. Driving dynamics are additionally monitored by a sensor system that analyzes acceleration and vehicle movement on all axles in real time.
Technology partner Bridgestone has developed specially adapted Bridgestone Potenza tyres for the Fenomeno Roadster. They are fitted on 21-inch rims at the front and 22-inch rims at the rear. Semi-slick versions are also available for track use.
Compared to the coupé, the roadster has been given a completely newly developed aerodynamic package. Lamborghini has primarily redesigned the upper body surfaces in order to achieve comparable downforce and stability despite the open construction. An additional spoiler above the windscreen directs air through the interior of the vehicle towards the rear of the engine. This is supposed to provide the V12 with sufficient cooling air even without the S-Duct used in the coupé. At the same time, turbulence and air vortices are supposed to be reduced.

The developers paid special attention to the roll bars. The carbon structures behind the seats were designed to meet safety requirements while at the same time causing as little aerodynamic drag as possible. According to Lamborghini, the design follows the philosophy of “feel like a pilot” and combines elements of historical Lamborghini models with elements from motorsport and aviation.
The front end features bold lines, large air intakes and the brand's signature hexagonal motif. Wide side sills and large air intakes at the rear serve to cool the engine. The rear end is characterised by a large diffuser, an active rear wing and a high-mounted central exhaust system in the shape of a hexagon.

The engine remains visible under the hood with hexagonal openings. The interior is dominated by visible carbon elements, digital displays and cockpit-style controls. The three displays, together with touch switches, form the so-called “Pilot Interaction” system.
The color combination of Blu Cepheus with Rosso Mars accents is reminiscent of the 1968 Lamborghini Miura Roadster and the colors of the city of Bologna. With the Fenomeno Roadster, Lamborghini continues its series of strictly limited edition models in small series, which already includes the Lamborghini Veneno, Lamborghini Centenario and Lamborghini Sián.
