Ferrari Luce: Just a bigger Nissan Leaf?

Is THIS supposed to be a Ferrari? The launch of the all-electric Luce model has sparked numerous discussions online, including heated criticism and, above all, mockery and disgust.

Ferrari shares also initially fell by eight percent. The design of the four-door car is a stumbling block. Quite a few observers believe that it is not enough Ferrari and too much China. Or too much insignificance, which, despite the 1.050 hp powerful engine, hardly arouses emotions.

Some people even thought of the current Nissan Leaf when they saw the bright blue Luce. Perhaps this is due to the similar color of the two electric cars. However, formally speaking, certain similarities cannot be denied. Perhaps the actual impression would be different if you saw the car in person.

And of course, the Luce is a good 70 centimeters longer than the 4,35-meter-long Leaf. Therefore, the Ferrari differs in its proportions in accordance with the motto "length is an advantage", as it has more pronounced overhangs at the front and rear. But the domed roof line in particular shows similarities. And not only with the Nissan. The new Alpine A390 (4,61 meters) also spontaneously came to mind. Judge for yourself:

This is perhaps the key problem with the Luce model. Of course, the designers have invested a lot of time and effort in it, we do not want to underestimate that. However, the result is not unambiguously recognizable as a Ferrari. A bit of China here, a bit of Tesla robotaxi there, and then, as already mentioned, the Leaf and the A390. Except that the latter two models are much cheaper than the Luce, which costs around 550.000 euros.

Let's not forget: Ferrari owners want to show off with this car. They also like to collect Ferraris, right down to special, custom-built models. Whether they will put the Luce aside is not yet clear.
