The redesigned sedan brings a customizable user interface, a smarter voice assistant, and a standard built-in dash cam.
Lexus has refreshed its ES sedan for the 2026 model year, equipping it with a new infotainment system that operates via a 35,5-centimeter touchscreen. The user interface now resembles a tablet and offers a fully customizable home screen with widgets and a dedicated menu for quick control of the most frequently used functions. In addition to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connections, the system now includes a directly integrated Spotify application, and improved navigation can be projected directly onto the digital instrument display in front of the driver.
The voice assistant has also been improved, now responding faster, understanding more complex commands and, as a novelty for the brand, allowing the choice of a male or female voice. The electric versions of the ES 350e and ES 500e bring a new smart charging management system that allows you to set schedules and plan routes taking into account the battery status and charging stations along the way. The digital smart key has also been upgraded with the ability to share with up to five users and NFC technology, which unlocks the vehicle even when the smartphone battery is completely empty.
All new ES models feature fast 5G connectivity and a standard in-dash camera that securely stores up to 90 one-minute driving clips in a continuous loop, with recorded speed and precise location. Drivers can review the collected videos directly on the central display or download them via USB. Pricing for the new range starts at around €44.980 for the base electric ES 350e, continues at around €47.000 for the upcoming hybrid ES 350h and reaches around €47.740 for the top-of-the-range electric ES 500e.
