Finally, after the teaser, new images of the new Fiat Grizzly and its Grizzly Fastback version are available. At the latest, similarities can be seen with models from the same group, such as the Citroën C3 Aircross and Opel Frontera. The Italians have also made a statement about the drive systems after this SUV duo was presented on the occasion of Fiat's 127th anniversary.
The Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback represent the next step in Fiat's product strategy, as they say: two silhouettes created for different customer needs. As presented at the Investor Day on May 21 in Auburn Hills, the project confirms Fiat's role as an international brand of the Stellantis Group, offering affordable and practical mobility to customers around the world, especially in three main markets: Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and South America.
There is talk of a version of the Grizzly for Chrysler, while the Fastback is expected to conquer the Brazilian market. Fiat describes it this way: “The Grizzly brings spaciousness, comfort and practicality for everyday use to the SUV segment, while the Grizzly Fastback offers an elegant silhouette with an equal emphasis on practicality and family needs.”
The regular Grizzly is 4,40 meters long and is tailored to the needs of a family, such as space, comfort and flexibility. The Grizzly Fastback is over 4,50 meters long and offers a boot capacity of 600 liters. You can see for yourself the “elegant proportions” that Fiat praises.
In both models, the customer has the freedom to choose the powertrain. This allows them to configure the vehicle according to their needs and choose between petrol, mild hybrid and fully electric powertrains with up to 145 PS and between manual or automatic transmissions, depending on the region. A photo of the cockpit is also available.
Both models are available in seven vibrant body colors and are equipped with technologies designed to make everyday life easier. The new Fiats replace the Tipo model, whose production was recently discontinued. The Grizzly and Grizzly Fastback will make their public debut at the Paris Motor Show in October. Market launch is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026.
