South Korean automaker KGM is expanding the range of its compact SUV Korando with a new special model called Limited. The special edition is now available in stores in Germany, with prices starting at 29.490 euros.
Under the bonnet of the KGM Korando Limited is a proven powertrain. The 1,5-litre T-GDi turbo petrol engine develops 120kW, equivalent to 163hp. In this special version, the four-cylinder engine is always linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. With this combination, the engine delivers a maximum torque of 280Nm, available across a wide rev range between 1.500 and 4.000rpm.
The special edition visually differs from the standard Korando models with selected design accents. The car has dark 19-inch alloy wheels designed in a so-called diamond pattern. The black radiator grille at the front emphasizes the independent appearance of this model.
In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a two-tone paint scheme. The roof, roof rails and exterior mirror housings are in contrasting black. For the rest of the bodywork, customers can choose from five familiar colors: Grand White, Latte Greige, Iron Metal, Dandy Blue and Space Black.
The equipment of this model is based on the existing Nomad Plus line, complemented by a number of additional features. Inside the vehicle, the driver and front passenger sit on electrically adjustable leather seats. These seats not only offer a heating function for cold winter days, but are also equipped with active ventilation, which ensures refreshment in the summer months.
The driver's seat is additionally equipped with adjustable lumbar support, which improves ergonomics for long-distance driving. Adaptive ambient lighting illuminates the cockpit in the dark, while an electrically opening tailgate makes it easier to access the luggage compartment.
A heated leather steering wheel and the Keyless-Go keyless entry system make everyday life easier. Good visibility is ensured by the main and fog lights with modern LED technology. Manoeuvring and parking are made easier by ultrasonic sensors at the front and rear of the vehicle.
This special model also offers extensive equipment in the area of active safety. In addition to the standard systems such as emergency braking assist, lane keeping assist, fatigue warning and traffic sign recognition, the Limited model also features lane change assist, blind spot monitoring and cross traffic alert when reversing. Adaptive cruise control also automatically regulates the safety distance and speed on motorways and country roads.
