If the word "Bushido" instinctively brings to mind a German gangsta rapper, I can't blame you. After all, the Berliner, whose real name is Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi, is one of the most famous artists in Germany, with several number-one hits, and he's just as infamous. A Google search also shows him at the top.
However, Lamborghini has not announced a special edition in his honor, but rather an anniversary edition in Japan. The sports car manufacturer officially entered the Japanese market exactly 25 years ago. To celebrate this event, the Italians are now sending out a special model of their V12 hybrid car from the factories in Sant'Agata Bolognese: the Lamborghini Revuelto Impavido. Although the clichéd image of "bling-bling" from the world of rap would be just as fitting.
However, it is a different, of course more thematically appropriate direction. The suffix in the name means “fearless” in Italian. According to the designers, “Bushido” is the common thread of the special model, which is limited to exactly 25 units. This is a reference to the traditional code of honor of the Japanese samurai, which places values such as courage and discipline at the center, and is intended to be reflected in the design of the vehicle.
Instead of technically redesigning the car, Lamborghini opted for a thorough visual makeover as part of its own individualization program. The Revuelto Impavido is available in four precisely defined configurations that visually draw on classic samurai armor and Bushido symbolism. The PR department lists a wide range of elements here, from silk cord binding to helmet crests, but essentially it's all about exclusive color combinations and customized design languages.

Given Lamborghini’s deep respect for the V12 tradition, the Revuelto Impavido is a fitting symbolic tribute to the 25-year milestone in the collaboration between Lamborghini and Japan,” explains Francesco Scardaoni, Regional Director of Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific.
Customers can choose between two glossy and two matt paint finishes. The high-gloss versions are called “Verde Campus” (rich green) and “Grigio Artis Lucido” (grey). Those who prefer matt colours can opt for “Grigio Crater Matt” (dark grey) or “Rosso Pyra” (red). Regardless of the base colour, the designers have opted for numerous accents in black and bronze. This continues with the wheels: the Altanero forged rims measure 21 inches on the front axle and 22 inches on the rear axle, are painted black and allow a view of the bronze brake calipers.
The interior is dominated by black leather combined with Corsa Tex microfiber fabric. Additional details include bronze contrast stitching, special embroidered motifs on the roof lining and the Samurai logo. Of course, such a special edition cannot be missing a numbered carbon plate, which marks the exact copy among 25 Lamborghinis.
Under the body, which is interspersed with numerous carbon elements, everything remains the same. And in the case of the Revuelta, this is certainly a good basis. Lamborghini combines a 6,5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with no fewer than three electric motors. The hybrid system is connected to a transversely mounted eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. The result is an outstanding total system output of 746 kW (1015 PS).
Thanks to its lightweight carbon monocoque construction, the Revuelto has a power-to-weight ratio of 1,75 kilograms per horsepower. The driving performance on paper is also suitably uncompromising: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 2,5 seconds. Acceleration only stops at a top speed of over 350 km/h. Power is transmitted to the road via all-wheel drive with an electrified torque distribution system. Active aerodynamics with a rear wing that can be adjusted to three positions ensure the right downforce in corners.
However, Lamborghini did not specify a specific price for the entire package in its announcement. Given the strictly limited number of copies and the demanding customizations, it is likely to significantly exceed the already high base price of the regular Revuelto. The official price is around 500.000 euros. But even Bushido will have trouble buying the Impavido. All 25 racing cars are intended exclusively for the Japanese market.
