Red Bull Racing 🇦🇹

DRIVER:

33 Max Verstappen 🇳🇱 || 11 Sergio Perez 🇲🇽

BRIEF HISTORY:

From a surprisingly strong private team Stewart GP, a team was formed Jaguar Racing Team, with the support of the Ford Group. But only with the takeover of the team by the energy drink manufacturer Red Bull, a successfully led racing team was formed from non-dangerous wild cats.

Already in his first season as Red Bull the red bulls convinced. Z David Coulthard in Antonio Liuzzi ter Christian Klien they were good enough for the occasional surprise. Red Bullu also managed to get the team wings, especially with various PR events. With the purchase Minardia and engagement Adriana Neweya and a contract with Ferrari as an engine supplier, the men are around the boss Dietrich Mateschitz show the public how seriously they have taken this project. In 2007, they switched to Renault in the engine field and have been loyal for more than a decade. They have made progress in the field of sports and after winning the podium more and more often, it is Adrian Newey in 2009 with RB5 succeeded a genius step, which he crowned with his first pole position and victory in China Sebastian Vettel.

In 2010, however, they managed a really big throw, winning their first championship title. Vettel in Webber they staged some interesting matches, in the end Vettel won the title. The German repeated this in 2011 and convincingly. In 2012, Vettl managed to catch up with Alonso and eventually win his third title. In 2013, Vettel dominated similarly to 2011 and secured the title early.

In 2014, the first season of the F1 hybrid period, Vettel got a new teammate Daniel Ricciard, who came from the B-team Toro Rosso. However, the path of success of the red bulls came to an end. Red Bull lost both titles against Mercedes. They had the most problems with hybrid technology. Vettel suffered the most, as he did not make friends with this new technique and was easily defeated by his new teammate. Vettel left at the end of the season Red Bull and headed to Maranello to Ferrari. The German was replaced by another young man from Toro Rosso namely Daniil Kvyat.

Compared to 2014, it is Red Bull in 2015 it went even further backwards. Due to the underpowered engines, Renault did not achieve a single victory. They were overtaken by Ferrari and Williams in the construction championship. In 2016, they managed to reconnect. Success to be attributed as well Max Verstappn. The young Dutchman took over the Kvjata race car in Barcelona and immediately won. His teammate Ricciardo also boasted the victory he won in Malaysia. The Red Bulls eventually managed to beat the Ferrari team. 2017 is expected to be followed by a Mercedes connection.

But 2017 began with sobriety. Despite being one of the main favorites due to the rule revolution, they started the season very badly, having trouble correlating between the wind tunnel and the track. At the same time, they were dealing with major problems with Renault’s powertrains. It wasn’t until the middle of the season that they caught the rhythm, Ricciardo managed to win once, and Verstappen boasted two.

In the 2018 season, they started much better and celebrated three victories in the first half, but they were always overwhelmed by technology and Renault's drive unit. He felt it the most Daniel Ricciardo, who had to endure resignations. By the end of the season, they had won another victory, which was brought by Verstappen. Red Bull however, at the end of the season, it parted ways with Renault's engine partner.

In 2019, they are performing with Honda engines, but this is not the only change. Daniel Ricciardo also left the team and went to Renault. In his place, however, the race is young Pierre Gasly, who came, otherwise, from the other Toro Rosso team.
