Ever since Robert Kubica returned to Formula 1, he failed to shine in the royal class of motorsport. Usually a team racer Williams rides completely at the start, only once, in a chaotic race in Hockenheim, he managed to rank among ten, where he is in tenth place - otherwise after the penalty of both cars of the team Alfa Romeo - received the only championship point so far. Nevertheless, the Pole is also a candidate for next season - alongside Nicholas Latifi - for the headquarters of the team Williams (ob George Russell).

Obviously Kubica does not rely on a possible extension of the contract with Williams, which is why he is also looking at it for next year alternative outside Formula 1. One option could be to move to a series DTM. That’s supposed to be there, judging by the sports boss’s statement Audi, Dieter Gass, his manager has already conducted the first interviews.

When asked by colleagues from Motorsport, is Dieter gas otherwise said: “He is definitely an interesting racer for DTM. However, it is still a bit too early to comment on the details of the situation of our factory racers. But if we look back at the fact that we had a very strong and even cadre, that’s one of the reasons for this year’s success. Every racer was able to win podiums and concrete points on their own, which makes it not easy to give up one of our racers in the future."
