LANCE STROLL: No feeling bad if my father replaces me

Lance Stroll, a Racing Point racer, said he would not be offended if his father, team owner Lawrence Stroll, ever fired him.

Lawrence stroll is his son Lance in 2017 led to Formula 1 namely with the team Williams, where he was a teammate in his first season Felipe Massa. In the team from Grove remained until the end of 2018 and then moved on to a newly reshaped team Racing Point. His father, along with business partners, bought an impoverished team in the summer of 2018 Force India.

In 2019, he had Throw a difficult season as he struggled heavily with catching up with his teammate Sergio Pereza, but is still in fourth place in the race German GP scored the highest score of the season for Racing Point. But this year's race car RP20 is a pretty different beast compared to the race car it is with Stroll performed in the 2019 season. This is also observed on his results, since he is young Canadian in four of the five races of the season scored points, the race on Hungary however, he finished in fourth place.

For the 2017 season, Lawrence Stroll has provided his son Lance with a permanent seat on the Williams team.

Lately, however, there has been a lot of talk about it being Sebastian Vettel switched to Racing Point, which will be named next year Aston Martin. Understandably, it is Perez the one who will have to because of German withdraw from the team. What if Lawrence fire your son? “That's life. There is a working relationship and a father-son relationship. If he kicks me off the team, then there are no bad feelings here. It's just a business, sometimes it just goes that way,”Is Throw told for Channel 4. "I would take note and fight on."

Lance wouldn’t blame his father if he replaced him with Sebastian Vettl next season, as it separates the business relationship from the father-son relationship.

"I have a very simple relationship with my father. There is great chemistry between us and it doesn’t step on my toes. He always gives me his space. And he does what he has to do on the side to make the race car as fast as possible and gather all the right people. We've put together a great team for so many years, we've worked hard together and now we race very well,Says the young man Stroll. As for the critics who say you are did not deserve a place on the starting line, he says: “I’ve heard this noise and to be honest, I’ve been listening to it my whole life, so I stay in my little bubble into which I let people who are really close to me. Everything else is background noise. I'm trying to talk to these people on the track,He added Throw.

Lance understands that his father is a businessman and that he wants the best for his team.

Despite everything drama, which then surrounds Racing Point, there is no doubt that they have put together a solid race car this year. But with a race car based on Mercedes of the year 2019, expectations also come if we consider how dominant he was W10. But Stroll the younger one does not allow himself to get caught up in expectations or feel the pressure that goes along with it. “I'm as cold as a cucumber here," he said. “Expectations in the end just disappoint you if it doesn’t go the way you’d like it to, which makes me look clean in this regard."

But Sergio Perez, who is probably already at the exit door of the team with his thoughts, says that as a father he would never fire his son.

Lance stroll you might be able to figure out that they will his expectations increased if he competes against the four-time world champion in the team next year Sebastian Vettl, but whoever will be by his side will be Stroll motivated to tackle the challenge. “Time will tell. I will continue to do work on my side of the garage and whoever shows up will be the next competitor and I want to stand up to the best, challenging myself all the time. We'll see what happens, but I'm just focused on my thing,”The young man concluded Stroll.
