It's really cool. Otherwise, you never know what might happen. It was all about handling the tires well. And of course a good stop at the pits. The others went to the stop earlier, so it was easier for me. I had everything under control. You always want to win this race. I am very proud to be here, but the season is still long. This is a good basis for continuing."
Carlos Sainz, Ferrari - second place"This is a good result. If you had told me before this weekend that I would be second, I would have accepted that. It’s about having Charles on the pole position and losing a good round in the qualifiers, then the taste of the result isn’t as good as it should be. Ferrari as a team should be proud of the race car and the step we have taken this year. When you see that there is no other car in pole position, you have to bring at least a podium to the team. It was about a good start."
Lando Norris, McLaren - third place"I don't even know what to say. I didn’t think I was going to stand here today. It depends on the team. There is always a dream of standing here on the podium. This is something special. With some luck and a good ride we succeeded. We had a strong race car all weekend and I’m happy for the girls and boys. I will really appreciate that."
