So says none other than Bernie Ecclestone, which has recently become increasingly present in the debates around of the royal class of motorsport. Although it is Mercedes it has been denied many times, but they still exist rumorsthat the German manufacturer is considering exit from Formula 1. And current the crisis of the automotive industry it could only be an additional motive or reason for this step.

According to Bernie Ecclestone, Ola Källenius, the head of the Daimler Group, should sell the Formula 1 team at the end of this season or leave the royal class of motorsport.

But according to Ecclestone I should Mercedes Leave Formula 1 now that he is on top. The Briton adds that it will be the next team, which will win the title, left stainbecause everyone will talk about winning the title just because it is Mercedes left. "I met the new head of the Daimler Group, Ol Källenius, while he was still running Mercedes' Formula 1 engine factory in Brixworth,”So Ecclestone for colleagues from F1-Insider.com. "So he knows very well why he is going. Currently, however, it has other problems such as the Formula 1 project."

The Briton adds that he should leave Mercedes Formula 1 now that he is at the top, because after six consecutive double championship titles, they have nothing more to prove.

ecclestone relates here to two important areas of the Group. “I am very impressed with how the company, in terms of the future, is leading in an emissions scandal and a crisis over the coronavirus pandemic. If he were in his place, he would sell his team after the end of this season. What else does Mercedes have to prove after six consecutive double titles? Nothing! Anyone who would then win the championship title would have to live with the realization that he won it just because Mercedes said goodbye."
